Halloween Party Ideas with Printable Patterns, Instructions and Game

It's about time for the parties to begin!  Halloween is such a fun holiday with all of the costumes, decorating, and Trick-or-Treating.  I'm really looking forward to our family Halloween Party this year - the costumes, games, food and fun.  These ideas are from our family party last year. It was "witchy" fun.  I'm putting together this year's fun ideas and will have them for you soon. Until then, if you didn't get a chance to check out these ideas I hope you enjoy!

Today I'm sharing a few fun party ideas centered around a Halloween Witch theme.

As part of last year's "witch" theme, here is a link to the wooden Witch Boot pattern, above:  WITCH BOOT

Not all treats at Halloween need to be candy, they just need to be fun.  My grandchildren will love these Witch's Nails and Witch's Eyeballs!

Slices of red, yellow, and orange peppers make great Witch Nails and it's a fun way to serve a Halloween vegie.  Serve with single serving containers of hummus all packaged together in clear cellophane bags and you have a fun, healthy treat that is likely to be a hit at any party.

You can purchase individual sized serving containers of Sabra Classic Hummus at Costco.  There are 16 containers to a box. A single serving container fits perfect in a clear bag with the "witch's nails". We love this hummus!

Grapes make perfect Witch Eyeballs!  Attach a cute little tag and you have an enticing healthy treat.

How about these darling Witch Broomsticks?  Here's what you need:

12 slices of cheese
12 pretzel sticks
12 fresh chives

To make them, begin by folding each cheese slice and cut the fringes of the broom using a pair of scissors.  Next, roll the slice of cheese around a pretzel stick having the fringes looking down.  Finally, to keep the cheese around the stick, use some chive and wrap it around and knot it.

These cute Cheesy Witch Broomsticks will be a hit with your family and friends!

My granddaughters enjoyed helping me assemble these fun Witch Boot favors, complete with striped stockings.

These darling witch boots are made with Oreo cookies, black cardstock, clear cellophane bags, and ribbon.  I have included a downloadable pattern for the boot with instructions.

The kids will love playing this Halloween Bingo game that was given to me by a friend.  I have included a download with six printable game cards and a set of pictures to cut out to use as the calling pieces.  Print on white 8-1/2" x 11" cardstock.  Play with Halloween candy or find little Halloween tokens to use.  The images on this game are bright and fun and younger children will have a lot of fun playing!
