Home Tour - Must See!

I love sharing home tours and the work of amazing designers. Today, I'm doing both. There is so much to love in this Nantucket style lakeside home in South Carolina. I fell in love with this home for several reasons, but what initially caught my eye was this stunning living room.
Throughout the home are unique and striking features, yet no element is in competition. The neutral colors are calming and sophisticated, and the balance between new and vintage is perfection.
Antique door panels masterfully frame the entryway into the living room. One of my favorite features.

The living room is anchored by an antique mirror integrated into the overmantle of the fireplace.
Carrara marble was used on the fireplace giving it a timeless, elegant look.

This is the Parisian Wood & Zinc Chandelier from Restoration Hardware. It's one of my favorites!

An inspirational feature for me is the inviting reading corner. Is there a corner in your home where you can create an inviting, cozy space like this?

Another lovely vintage piece.

The kitchen is open and spacious - perfect for gatherings and entertaining.

The dining area opens to a patio with beautiful views.
 Gorgeous outdoor living space.

This light fixture is the Victorian Hotel Pendant from Restoration Hardware in Polished Nickel.
The master bedroom is elegant yet comfortable and inviting.

This bathtub is from Signature Hardware.

This bathroom faucet is the Rohl AC107 LM in Polished Nickel.

Linda McDouglad is the talented designer of this home. Her work has a distinctive, timeless look and she is one of my favorite designers to follow. This handcrafted home was built by award wining Gabriel Builders. Architect/Home Designers were Mel Dias and Jim Seward.

There is so much to love about this timeless home. It's one of my all-time favorites! What elements do you love most about this home? For me it's the masterful use of vintage pieces. I love the antique doors framing the living room. It's such a great idea!

Have a lovely day!
